"Twenties: Generation new Europe"

20 years after - 20 years ahead

This age-group of young artists coming from the Czech Regions was invited to prepare works expressing their visions and values of Europe and its journey from 1989 to the present and ahead, another twenty years into the future. At the end of a first selection, each Region has chosen a masterpiece to be presented in a common exhibition in the main seat of European Commission - Berlaymont in Brussels. An international jury will vote for the best artist, whose masterpiece will be donated to the Committee of the Regions on behalf of all regional and local Czech communities, during an official ceremony. This masterpiece will remain in the premises of the CoR as a cultural contribution of the Czech Regions to the Presidency.
